I’m looking for a hoodia supplement for appetite suppression but want to find one that is of the highest quality and works.

Although some of the people have reported here that they’ve had success with those products you can find at retail stores and discount chains, I would stay away from them.
Based on my research of hoodia diet pills over the past year, the kinds of products you find in those types of stores contain very little, if any, hoodia gordonii – the ingredient necessary for effective appetite suppression. They also tend to have a number of additional ingredients beyond hoodia gordonii.
For example, Smart Burn with Hoodia has several ingredients that they claim helps suppress appetite and burn fat and yet hoodia gordonii is just a small ingredient in the overall blend of the product. These additional ingredients are just fillers and likely don’t do anything in the scheme of things.
The most effective hoodia diet pills will contain 100% authentic hoodia gordonii – and nothing else. In the weight loss forums that I frequent to get people’s opinions on diet pills, the two brand names that always get mentioned are Desert Burn and Hoodoba Pure. They are popular for a reason.
A study was done last year where 17 of the most popular hoodia brands were tested for authenticity. Only six were proven to contain authentic hoodia gordonii. That means over 60% of the hoodia supplements sold today contain very little, if any, hoodia gordonii.
Two of the products that passed were Desert Burn and Hoodoba. What’s even more impressive about these two products is that they are continuously tested by independent labs for authenticity.
For example, you can go to the Desert Burn website and see the test results from December 2006. And on the Hoodoba Pure website you can enter the number found on your bottle and you can see the lab test results of the actual bottle of pills you’re taking! They are the only company that is doing that.

If after reading the reviews you don’t agree they are the most effective hoodia diet pills available, I’ve provided another link below to a buyer’s checklist. You can use that to find your own brand that you feel comfortable with.
Keep in mind that high quality hoodia diet pills that actually work aren’t cheap. You’re going to pay between $50-$60 per bottle and it’s only going to last you 20-30 days depending on how many pills you are taking each day. The reason being is hoodia gordonii is an endangered plant and there are tight restrictions on the exportation of it from South Africa. Their is a limited supply of it but a very high demand so it is expensive!
One final note, hoodia gordonii diet pills don’t work for everyone. Even if you take a high-quality hoodia diet pill, it may not work for you. Some people simply don’t respond to it. It can take up to two weeks before they work so give them time, but if they don’t work after that, they may not work for you regardless of what brand you take.

Smart Burn w/ Hoodia FABULOUS results. You can get it anywhere, Kmart, WalMart, Eckerd, Walgreen’s etc) The beauty of this product is that it definitely suppressed my appetite, though I could still enjoy a meal, just not so much of it, and there was ABSOLUTELY NO repeat NO jittery side effect crap. No side effects whatsoever. I highly recommend this product if you feel you must supplement with one.
I have been using the liquid hoodia in capsule form, I get it at CVS, AWESOME!!, it does work. I stick with pure hoodia, and don’t get the kind with stimulates added, they make me to jittery.
Its true that you will not even be thinking about food.

Sorry to say this, but from the studies I have read, it appears that it isn’t the miracle diet pill that it has been touted to be. So you just might be wasting your money on any of them
Truth is, most of what is available is garbage. It’s either low-grade, or a miniscule amount that doesn’t do jack.
Go with something else unless you can get it imported in pure form.
